Why is this so hard to figure out?

So the above is a photo of the camo pants the boys have for the size they are in now...well half of them...didn't need to have 2 of each in the picture. I have no clue what shirts to put with any of them!! Seriously I open up their drawers and just can't figure it out.

What color(besides white or black) can I put with these? Do they have to be solids? Can the shirts have print on them? I am realizing that I have no idea how to dress boys. So far most clothes have been one piece things. Camouflage is a whole new area for me and I am feeling totally clueless. I always thought dressing boys would be easier than girls...I guess I was wrong.

I'd go solids, with maybe just printed letters, if anything. Orange, red, green, black would all look good.

I always have a hard time with that too. I tend to stick with solids, but like Jodi said, printed letters might work!

Girls are so much easier to dress!

hmm... I'm not much help here, we usually stuck with solid color pants/shorts for our boys (blue, khaki, grey, or jeans), stuff that pretty much any shirt, color or print, would go with. With camo pants, I'd probably go with solid color shirts, but that's just me.

I am not much help as evan is only a little older than the boys.. But.. With Camo i normaly do solids but i have a few shirts that are white with Camo on them or white with lettrs on that that go cute with the shorts he had.. Yeah .. I think Boys are HARDER to dress than girls.. cause you have to make sure it matches and does not look to girly like some of the boys cloths out there seem to be.. Well at least that is what i think :)

I have four boys and they all wear camo. You can pretty much wear any color of shirt with camo, but like most people said - I ususally stick with solid colors - some have writing on the front too, but not too busy with the writing.
Hope that helps!
